Common Name:  Peruvian Torch Cactus

Origin: Western slopes of the Andes in Peru.

Hardiness: Hardy down to -9 degrees.

Growth Characteristics: Fast growing Columnar Cactus. Bluish green in colour with groups of rigid spines evenly spread along the ribs. Nocturnal large white fragranced flowers.

Sun: Full sun/partial shade.

Exposure: Exposed/sheltered.

Soil: Well drained soil. Gritty. Not rich in Nitrogen.

Moisture: Water around every 10-14 days. Allow to dry between waterings. Keep dry in winter.
