Common Name: Mexican Giant Cactus, Mexican Giant Cardon, Elephant Cactus.
Origin: Northwest Mexico.
Hardiness: Hardy down to -4 degrees for short periods.
Growth Characteristics: Slow growing Columnar Cactus. Branching occurs. Blue/green to dark-green in colour with groups of grey spines along strong ribs. Nocturnal large white flowers when mature. Very low maintenance.

Soil: Fast draining soil. Gritty. Not rich in Nitrogen.

Pachycereus Pringlei Cacti.
The Pachycereus Pringlei is a slow growing columnar variety of cacti. This cactus is spectacular and the largest Cacti in the world. Blue-green to dark green in colour, it is strongly ribbed with many grey coloured spines.
Flowering when mature, this Cactus is a night flowering species. The large white flowers appear along the ribs and can reach sizes of up to 3 inches long.
Young plants are slender at the base but greatly increase in thickness when branch formation begins.
