Origin: Mexico.

Hardiness: Hardy down to -5 degrees for short periods if dry.

Growth Characteristics: Slow growing clustering Cactus. Dark green miniature pads. Does not have spines, but numerous white glochids in dense clusters. Flowers are yellow/lemon followed by red fruit.

Sun: Full sun/partial shade.

Exposure: Sheltered.

Soil: Well drained soil. Gritty.

Moisture: Water around every 10-14 days. Allow to dry between waterings. Keep dry in winter.

Opuntia Microdasys ‘Snowqueen’. Cacti.
The Opuntia Microdasys ‘Snowqueen’ is a clustering Cacti forming a dense shrub up to 40-60cm tall. Miniature pads have no spines but bear numerous fine white glochids (hair-like prickles) in dense clusters from each areole.

Lemon/yellow flowers are produced between 3-5cm across and are followed by red fruits.

Very easy to keep, great for growing in pots and needs minimal maintenance.

Also commonly known as ‘White Bunny Ears’ Cactus.
