    Growth: Solitary trunk with a large crown of deeply split costapalmate fan shaped leaves silvery-blue in colour particularly when young. Wind and drough resistant when established.

    Exposure: Exposed/sheltered.

    Soil: Well drained sandy soil.

    Moisture: Water well through summer. Dry through winter.

    Sabal Uresana. Sonoran Palmetto
    The Sabal Uresana is a slow growing but very impressive single trunk palm. A crown of deeply split costapalmate fan leaves are a striking silvery-blue in colour, particularly when young.

    Cold hardy down to around -9, it also exhibits a high resistance to wind and drought when established. Plant in well draining sandy soil in a sunny posisition. Probably the most attractive of the Sabal Palms.
