The large stately single trunk, smooth in texture and grey-white in colour has a bulge just below the green crownshaft, giving a bottle-like appearance. Topped by a large crown of betweenn 15-20 graceful, feathery pinnate leaves, the Cuban Royal Palm is said to be one of the most beautiful palms in the world.
