    Common Names: Sonoran Jumping Cholla. Jumping Cholla. Club Cactus. Hanging Chain Cholla.

    Origin: Mexican States of Sinaloa and Sonora.

    Hardiness: Hardy down to -8

    Growth Characteristics: Slow growing shrubby branching Cactus. Does not have spines, but sparse white glochids. Numerous flowers are orange to coppery-red. Stimulated to bloom by dryness.

    Sun: Full sun/partial shade.

    Exposure: Sheltered.

    Soil: Well drained soil. Gritty.

    Moisture: Water around every 10-14 days. Allow to dry between waterings. Keep dry in winter.

    Opuntia Fulgida Cactus.
    The Opuntia Fulgida is a shrubby tree-like Cactus. A single low trunk branches to eventually form a drooping spreading crown which can grow up to 4m tall in habitat. Jointed segments are irregular and cylindrical, young ones covered with silvery-yellow spines up to 2.5cm in length which darken to a grey colour with age.

    Numerous flowers are white and pink in colour streaked with lavender up to 2.5cm wide.

    Very easy to keep, great for growing in pots and needs minimal maintenance.
