    Licuala Peltata var. ‘Sumawongii’. 
    The Licuala Peltata var.’Sumawongii’ is a very impressive palm when mature. The crown has between 12-15 large flat circular fan shaped leaves up to 1.5m across, These undivided leaves are dark green in colour and are pleated, sitting on long dainty petioles which are armed with teeth along their margins. The solitary trunk is covered with brown woven fibres and retained leaf bases.

    This magnificent palm is much more tolerant of cool conditions than nearly any other Licuala.

    A great palm for collectors and enthusiasts.
