Fatsia Japonica ‘Spider’s Web’. Japanese Aralia ‘Spider’s Web‘.

The Fatsia Japonica ‘Spider’s Web’ ia a relatively new form of Fatsia. This evergreen shrub has beautiful large palmate leaves, dark green in colour but heavily speckled with white which on occasions can cover the whole of the leaf. In Autumn clusters of small delicate white flowers are produced followed by small black fruit.

Tolerant of coastal exposure, urban pollution and low light levels. Frost hardy, although may need some winter protection, this is a great plant for adding colour variation and bringing a tropical effect to a border or indeed as a stand alone specimen in a decorative pot also.
