    Latin Name: Crassula Capitella ‘Campfire’.

    Common Name: Crassula Flame. Crassula Capitella Flame. Crassula Blaze.
    Native to: South Africa.
    Hardiness: Keep frost free. Can be put out through Summer but brought in through Winter
    Growth: Evergreen succulent shrub. Long thin pointed fleshy pale green succulent leaves growing in opposing pairs. In high light levels leaves become a bright red colour. Biennial plant- it takes 2 yera to complete the flowering cycle but when it does small star shaped creamy-white star shaped flowers appear in Summer. Ideal houseplant. Can survive neglect.
    Sunlight: Bright light with some direct sun.
    Exposure: Sheltered.
    Soil: Well drained.

    Moisture: Water regularly through the growing season. Allow top to dry between waterings. Sparingly in winter. Do not let sit in water.

    Feeding: Feed monthly during growing season with a balanced liquid feed

    Crassula Capitella ‘Campfire’. Crassula Flame.
    The Crassula is a very attractive evergreen spawling succulent. Propeller-like, thin and pointed succulent fleshy leaves grow in opposing pairs along the branches. Emerging a pale colour they go through different shades from green to yellow to pale pink to eventually becoming a bright red in high levels of sunlight. The plant takes two years to complete its flowering cycle with small creamy-white star shaped flowers appering in Summer.
