    Origin: New Zealand.

    Growth: Very easy to grow. Evergreen. Long slender tropical looking sword-like leaves. Dark grey-green leaves have broad bright pink margins and fine stripes down their centres. Will tolerate salt winds.

    Sunlight: Full sun/ partial shade.

    Exposure: Exposed/sheltered.

    Soil: Fertile. Well drained.

    Moisture: Water moderately. Drought tolerant.

    Feeding: Feed from Spring with a balanced fertilizer.

    The Cordyline ‘Southern Spendour’ has long, slender sword-like leaves dark grey-green in colour with broad striking pink margins and fine pink stripes running down their centres. Mature plants may produce large sprays of small scented whitish flowers in Summer.

    Very undemanding, salt and drought tolerant when establised, they make dramatic feature plants, perfect for putting interest and a touch of tropical into your garden.
    Cold hardy down to around -5 degrees and evergreen, they are also ideal for growing in pots.
