    Growth: Solitary slender trunk palm. Dense crown of  up to 40 fan shaped waxy covered leaves. Bluish-grey. Short columnar trunk lightly ringed.

    Copernicia Hospita. Cuban Wax Palm. 

    The Copernicia Hospita is a spectacular palm with a dense crown of up to 40 fan shaped leaves creating a circular outline around the top of the trunk when mature. The leaves are blue grey in colour and covered in a waxy bloom with short petioles. The relatively slender columnar trunk is lightly ringed with old leaf scars and short.

    A very majestic medium sized palm, which is drought tolerant when established. Can be grown indoors in a sunny conservatory or greenhouse. A great addition to any collection.
