Citrus x Latifolia.  Tahiti Lime Tree.

Citrus trees instantly bring a piece of the Mediterranean to your garden. Grown in a sunny, sheltered position they will produce crops of delicious sweet fruits even in the UK, with only basic maintenance.
The Citrus x Latifolia, or Tahiti Lime Tree produces large, oval and usually seedless fruit up to 2-3 inches across, green in colour, turning paler when ripe. The skin has oil glands dotted over the surface and the flesh is a juicy greenish-yellow pulp with a tangy flavour.
Perfect as an ornamental tree too, glossy dark green dense foliage, beautifully scented white blossom which have a light purple tingle to their margins and tasty fruit year after year. A very pretty tree, great for growing in containers on a patio, in a conservatory as well as your garden.

    This tree is self-fertile.
