The Citrus Sinensis ‘Sanguinelli’, or Blood Orange is a variety of citrus tree that produces nearly seedless, sweet and highly flavoured oranges. In addition to the usual citrus flavour, hints of raspberry and cherry are present and the deeper the flesh colour the stronger these flavours are. The fruit are medium sized and are ready mid to late season.
Perfect as an ornamental too, glossy dark green foliage, thornless, beautifully scented white flowers and tasty fruit year after year. A very pretty and compact tree, great for growing in containers on a patio as well as your garden.
