    Cephalanthus ‘Magical Moonlight’.  Button Bush.

The Cephalanthus ‘Magical Moonlight’ is a neat shrub and a perfect addition to any garden. Truly unique, perfectly round clusters of honey-scented small white flowers are covered in slender protruding yellow-tipped stamens attracting a real mixture of friendly insects such as bees and butterflies. In Autumn the glossy green leaves of summer turn a golden-orange colour and the fruits are a favourite with the birds. Although deciduous through winter the new stems are flushed red bringing colour to the garden in spring.

This attractive shrub is low maintenance and also makes a great container plant for patios, conservatories and greenhouses. Cold hardy in most regions, although winter protection may be necessary in areas prone to prolonged severe freezes.
