    Fargesia Angustissima. Bamboo.

Fargesia Angustissima is a very attractive and non-evasive clump forming variety of Bamboo. It has many slender upright canes gently arching at the tips with all year round dense foliage. The canes themselves are an attractive purple-mauve colour which are often covered in a whitish powder. Average to fast growing reaching an eventual height of around 3-4m they are great for providing both a visual and sound barrier in the shape of a hedge. Alternatively they look spectacular as a single specimen plant in a smaller garden.
