Large Apple Trees, Espalier trained, variety ‘Belle De Boskoop’.
Espalier Trained Fruit Trees add a formal structural element to any garden, whilst also giving the benefit of being easy to place without taking up too much space and of course home-grown fruit!

The Belle De Boskoop’ Apple Tree is a very attractive variety producing good regular crops of medium-large fruit. The apples are red-orange flushed, with pale cream coloured firm flesh and a sharp taste, mellowing with storage. This variety has a high vitamin C content and can contain up to 4 times more than the ‘Granny Smith’ or ‘Golden Delicious’ varieties.

Flowering in April-May these trees have very attractive fragrant pink blossom followed by the apples ready to harvest in October. Easy to grow and tolerant of even the Northerly areas of the UK which are colder and have a higher rainfall. ‘Belle De Boskoop’ will probably need a pollination partner to produce a large crop.
