Myrtillocactus Geometrizans Cactus. Blue Myrtle Cactus
The Myrtillocactus Geometrizans Cactus is a columnar tree-like variety of cacti. Candelabra like branching occurs freely at the top as it matures. Attractive blue-green stems are between 7-10cm in diameter, usually with 5 but occasionally 6 ribs. Areoles are spaced between 1.5 -3cm apart, each containing up to 5-9 spines but generally 3-5 between 5-12mm long.
Small greenish-white flowers occur from February to April and last for one day to be followed by very sweet oblong shaped edible fruits, dark red in colour.
A very structural cactus and perfect for Cacti enthusiasts.
